Navillus has been involved with food waste disposal for over 25 years. In fact, Navillus was one of the first companies in NYS to receive permission from the DEC to land apply food wastes. We service several companies throughout the Rochester and Finger Lakes area. Food wastes are trucked back to our fields and land applied at agronomic rates following strict DEC guidelines. A field is kept fallow for food waste application. The next year a crop is raised to utilize the nutrients in the food wastes applied during the prior year. We provide the necessary trucking and land application permits.
